Shipping Policy
If your order is placed before 2pm (Atlantic Canada Time) Mon-Fri (excluding public holidays), we'll do our very best to ensure that it is shipped out to you by the next day.

We aim to ship any orders placed over the weekend on the Monday (unless it's a public holiday).
​
There are some rare instances where this may not be possible though (during busy times such as new product launches).
As soon as your order is picked, packed and shipped you'll receive a shipping confirmation email.

The current pricing for shipping is being updated. We are looking to switch to a weight-based system to get you a better price. Apologies for the inconvenience!

Currently UK Delivery is £6.99 and FREE when over £75 purchase. Note that delivery will take 4-10 business days.

Delivery Canada wide is $9.99 and FREE when over $100 purchase. Delivery will take between 3-7 days.
We also offer delivery in and around the Truro, Nova Scotia area, and are looking at a pick-up service too! Let us know if you need / want this service.

We are in the process of streamlining our delivery options, and are looking at UPS for international, and will be doing a by weight option.

For orders outside of Canada, you may have duties, taxes and/or custom fees charged upon delivery. These fees vary from country to country. You are responsible for paying these fees. If you refuse to pay them upon delivery, your package will be returned to us. Upon receipt, we will refund your product (minus shipping fees for both ways).

For more information, we strongly advise you to check with the Customs department in your country about its import policies.

Return & Exchange Policy
Non Receipt Of Items
If you have not received your items you must let us know within 14 days from the estimated delivery date.
Once we are aware that you have not received your item we will investigate the matter fully, both internally and with our carriers.

Items Damaged in Transit
If any items were damaged in transit, we ask that you report it to us within 14 working days.
If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, it's best to sign the carrier's delivery note accordingly and if possible, take a picture of the delivered package.
Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once received back into our warehouse, we'll issue a replacement or full refund via your original payment method.

Items Faulty on Arrival
If your items are faulty on arrival, you have 28 calendar days in which to inform us of the fault.

If you change your mind
If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 14 working days of receipt.
The item must not be used and must be 'as new' and in a resalable condition when returned to us.
Once you've informed us that you wish to return goods under the DSR, you have 28 calendar days to do so, at your own expense. Once the item is received and processed, we'll issue a full refund for the product received.
DAP (Duties At Place) – International Orders
All orders sent outside of the UK are shipped on a DDU (Duties At Place) basis and may be subject to local customs import duty which is charged on the value of the purchase. Payment of these fees is the sole responsibility of the customer.
Payment of the duty charge is necessary for the release of your order from customs on arrival to your country.

DAP (Duties At Place) – Refusal to pay charges – Returns Policy
If you refuse to pay any import duty levied against your shipment, or refuse delivery of an order, resulting in the shipment being returned to Tinker Tailor, then all related returns charges plus a minimum administration charge of £10.00 (or equivalent currency at current exchange rate) will be charged against your final refund amount.
